Fool's Game

I’m tired of this run around
Trying not to make a sound
That would resemble me complaining.
Complaining?  No, I’m blaming.
Because you have such stupid rules
You thing we’ll all follow them like fools.
Maybe I don’t want to play your game
Acting like I’m calm and tame
Like a poor dumb herd beast
Going to be slaughtered for your feast.
No, I don’t wish to go without a fight
Though you’ll try with all your might
To keep me under your thumb and out of sight.
Are you afraid I’ll take flight
To somewhere where you can’t reach me?
To somewhere where you can’t see
Me and what I do with out you
Hope you hold your breath till you turn blue
Because as soon as I’m done with this place
You’re never going to see my face
Again unless it’s for something great
As it will be my fate.
So leave me be you dumb fool
For now you’re playing by my rule.
